Yin (White Candle): Bergamot, Mandarin, Thyme, Jasmine, Ginger, White Tea, ChrysanthemumYang (Black Candle): Violet Accord, Cardamom, Iris, Ambrox, Cedarwood, Leather, Sandalwood· Hand poured and hand made in Texas
· All ingredients are sourced from the USA
· 100% Soy wax
o Soy wax is made from environmentally friendly, sustainable resources
o Soy wax is the cleanest burning medium available; burns with zero soot so it is the healthiest option available
o Soy wax is biodegradable
o No paraffin -- Classic paraffin wax is made from petroleum and is non-renewable
o NOTE: If a candle says only “Soy Wax”, then it is blended with paraffin; this also applies to Coconut wax
· Cotton wicks
o Many mass-produced candles use lead or zinc-based wicks
· Fragrance Oil – high quality fragrance oil
o No phthalates
o No added chemicals
· 8 ounces: burn time is approximately 45 hours
· Candle is made in one single pour so candle will be fragrant throughout its entire burn time
o Many candle companies use multiple pours with no to little oil on the bottom layers so the candle fragrance fades or disappears over the life of the candle
· Frosting – Some candles may develop a light frosting across parts of the top before the candle’s first burn. This frosting is due to the softness of the soy wax and is total normal. It is an aesthetic issue only – it does not affect the performance of the candle. It will disappear as soon as the candle burns and develops a melt pool.
· Tunneling – Because soy wax is soft, the candles will not tunnel down the center.
o Many candles made with paraffin wax will tunnel down the center leaving wax and fragrance stuck to the side of the vessel.
Reed & Acanthus Yin-Yang Candles
· When using the candle for the first time, leave it to burn for 2 or 3 hours, until all the wax has become liquid on the surface. You want to have a full melt pool.
- Regularly cut the wick with the wick trimmer (ideal length ¼ inch).
- Do not burn the candle longer than four (4) hour increments
